ILOILO: GIGANTES ISLAND

HOW I GOT THERE:
I was in Ilo-ilo City when I contacted Rhett Paul for my Gigantes Island Tour - 09989816812 and arranged to pick me up in my hotel to Bancal Port in Carles for 250php.
No photo description available.
Located in Bancal Port, Carles Iloilo is a Tourist assistance, boat reservation, registration and payment center.

They also regulates the rates and accredited the boats for the Gigantes Tours.

Gigantes Island Tour (1000php) includes lunch.

It was so very unfortunate for me that I was not able to visit all islands like Antonia Beach, Lighthouse, Pawikan Cave, Bakwitan Cave and the famous Tangke Lagoon due unfavorable weather and unfriendly waves.

But I'm still thankful that I was able to visit Cabugao Gamay, Bantigue Sand Bar and Cambugao Dako where we had our lunch with unlimited scallops.

Gigantes Island is dubbed as the Scallop Capital of the Philippines

Scallops are being sold for 1php per piece! Yes, way cheaper than those sold in Iloilo and Capiz.
