Trekking to Bugtong Bato Falls will take you 45mins walk with guide fro 100php

1st Level of Bugtong Bato Falls

There are 3 levels falls. 1st level falls is the biggest amongst the three falls.

(I have checked out some blog photos of Bugtong Bato Falls and I am so thankful that i was at the right place at the right time. The waters in most photos were almost dry or less water)

1st Level of Bugtong Bato Falls

At the left side of the falls is where you will find the path going to the 2nd falls.

2nd Level and 3rd Level of Bugtong Bato Falls

You will be climbing a very steep cemented rock stairs with bamboo railings.

2nd Level of Bugtong Bato Falls

Going to the 3rd falls is the hardest and the trickiest.

You will need to use the rope hanging at the left side of the falls.

I mentioned the trickiest because you will need to rely with your strong arms to pull yourself up while your feet are pressed against the walls and waters splashing at your face and against your body as you climb your way up to the 3rd falls.

Climbing my way up to 3rd falls. Trying my best to stay on the sides

3rd water falls has a pool too but not for swimming during the time I was there as warned by our guide. Since it rained the day before we came, there is too much water coming from the falls creating too much pressure that if you jump in the pool, you sould be sucked in by what seems like a water tornado underneath or you may be automatically carried and thrown back to 2nd falls. Whichever you may end up to, you are lucky if ever you come out alive. (too bad I did not bring my camera to show you the pool)

Reaching 3rd Level of Bugtong Bato Falls

After trekking the 3 levels of Bugtong Bato Falls, it is time to relax. And Tibiao has a unique herbal and traditional way of relaxing tired muscles of your whole body - You will be literally COOKED ALIVE! :-)
