Mermaid

Every little girls underwater fantasy is to be a Mermaid - Mystical aquatic beauties with lovely and  colorful fishtails gracefully swimming in her sea kingdom. I am once a little girl... I once dreamed to be a Little Mermaid... and I have always believed that dreams do come true. To make that dream a reality, (even though im not so little anymore) I went to visit the Philippine Mermaid Swimming Academy that offers open water courses in Boracay Island. You can choose tails for male and for female in different colors. They also have shell and flower bikinis you can use to pair with your tail. A short briefing will be done on how to put on the tail. It is actually made up of a mono fin and a colorful skin tight cloth. You will be taught the do's and don'ts in using your fishtail. Renting a fishtail will cost you 1000php. Malalison Island

Malalison Island also known as Mararison Island With its grass like green carpets rolled over the island,  it resembles Batanes of the north.  No wonder it is called the Mini Batanes of the Visayas.  How To Get There: Van/Bus from Kalibo to Culasi.
