When the tide is out, natural tide pools of different depths and sizes emerges: for singles, for doubles, for family size and for the whole barangay! Choose your pools wisely. The place derived its name from the word "Pungko" means "to Sit" referring to the Giant Rock that seems to be sitting and balancing itself on top of a rocky land along the sea shore. Best  time to visit Magpupungko Rock Pools is at Low Tide. HOW TO GET THERE: Cebu Pacific Air flies to Siargao daily to/from Cebu and Manila. It has been know to everyone that Siargao is the Surfing Capital of the Philippines. But if big waves isn't your thing, you might want to visit Sugba Lagoon.   It is an underrated location in Siargao.
