Panampangan Island is considered the longest and widest sandbar in the Philippines.
Its sandbar extends to 3,128.37 meters (10,263.7 ft.)
It is characterized with fine white sand beach in the Sulu Archipelago.
Panampangan Island is an island in the municipality of Sapa-Sapa, Tawi-Tawi.
It is located inside Basibuli Shoal.
HOW I GOT THERE:
I was in Zamboanga when I was invited by my friends from Cagayan De Oro to travel to Tawi-Tawi.
