Jomalig Island

A paradise 6 hours boat ride from Real Quezon is an isolated island called Jomalig Island. This El Dorado is gaining attention to travelers and explorers despite its geographic location. This placid and untouched island is a nirvana of abundance in natural gifts and natural resources.

The only way to  get around this island is by renting a motorbike or habal-habal to take you to its long stretch of amazing golden sand beaches.

Unlike other tropical beaches in the Philippines which is towered by coconut trees, Jomalig Island is surrounded by towering Pine Trees perfect for camping out.

This isolated island gives you the feeling of exclusivity and privacy. It is uncrowded. Untouched. Serene. Peaceful. Refreshing. Energizing. Beautiful that one will be lost for words to describe this wonderful place.

We were privileged enough to be invited by Capt. Jonjie Guballa to visit Jomalig Island through a Chartered Flight as a Birthday Gift.

He was flying to Jomalig Island to rescue a family of three who was stranded in the island.

No boats were allowed to sail to/from Jomalig Island due unpleasant weather and rough waves for a certain period of time already, that the couple had no choice but to call Capt. Guballa for a chartered service flight because they were traveling with their 2 year old son.

I used to work with Capt. Guballa in a commercial airline where he is the pilot.

Outside his airline career, he also sells aircraft and offers charter flights to Jomalig Island from Plaridel Airport in Bulacan to Talisoy Airport in Jomalig Island.

He has a 6 seater plane (pilot included) to Jomalig Island for 30,000php.

He has a 4 seater plane (pilot included) to Jomalig Island for 20,000php.

For those interested to experience Jomalig Island in a different level, you may contact Capt. Guballa through 09178542626. Or you may opt to leave him a text message or chat with him in his facebook. He will reply to you as soon as he touches down from his flights.
